03 Training
Train the capability, keep it in-house.
Hands-on workshops in four domains: Competitive Intelligence, Technology Intelligence & Technology Scouting, OSINT, and AI & External Data Applications. I run them across Europe for corporate, public-sector and academic teams, from half-day primers to multi-day build labs. Your people leave with a method they can run without me.
Register your interest→What your team walks away with
- Skills they can use the next working day, not theory.
- A repeatable method, tailored to your sector on real cases.
- Less time lost to gathering and vetting external data.
- Methodology you can audit and defend to a stakeholder.
A working program to stand up or restart your CI function. We start from the decisions your stakeholders actually face, then work backwards to the questions, sources and analysis that answer them. By the end your team can plan, collect, analyze and deliver intelligence that gets used, not filed.
What we cover
- The intelligence cycle and where most teams break it
- Designing Key Intelligence Topics and Questions (KIT/KIQ)
- Building a balanced source mix: open, human, technical
- AI-driven semantic search and monitoring
- Spotting and triaging weak signals
- Writing the one-page brief leadership actually reads
- Who it's for
- Strategy and innovation teams, managers building or restarting a CI function, analysts, sales.
- Format
- Half day to a 2-day deep program with a capstone. On-site or online.
View course →02Technology Intelligence & Scouting
How to read the technology landscape from patents, scientific literature and the open record, and turn it into a directional view leadership can act on. We cover the sources, the search logic and the analysis that separates a useful read from a pile of charts, and we hunt for white space and potential partners. Includes practical work in patent and literature databases.
What we cover
- Patent landscapes and how to scope them
- Reading CPC/IPC classification without drowning in data
- Scientific literature and citation analysis
- Technology scouting and white-space detection
- Technology monitoring and early-warning systems
- From landscape to decision: the directional brief
- Who it's for
- R&D, innovation managers, technology strategy, IP-adjacent roles, founders.
- Format
- 1 to 3 days, hands-on in the databases.
Inside this track
IP Analytics & Patent Search
A specialist block for people who need answers, not a literature review: freedom-to-operate triage, query design, reading and comparing patent claims, and working with Espacenet, WIPO and national registers, trademarks included.
View course →A hands-on OSINT workshop built around real cases, not tool tourism. You learn a repeatable method for finding, verifying and documenting information from the open and deep web, and where the ethical and legal lines sit. Everyone leaves with a personal collection workflow and a verification checklist they can use the next day.
What we cover
- Structured search across surface and deep web (Google dorking)
- Source evaluation and triangulation
- Verifying people, organizations, media and locations
- Geolocation, map data, IMINT and GEOINT
- Digital footprints and chain-of-custody documentation
- Ethical and legal boundaries, OPSEC basics
- Who it's for
- Analysts, investigators, security and compliance teams, journalists, librarians, public sector.
- Format
- 1 to 3 days, hands-on. On-site preferred.

Dark Web module
Optional block on anonymity networks (Tor, I2P, VPN), moving safely, typical threats, and the role of the dark web in modern cybersecurity.
View course →Plain language, no jargon: what today's AI actually changes for your business and how to put it to work, no technical background required. Then we roll up our sleeves and build a working AI project from scratch, live in the room, with real tools. We turn external web data into a working product.
What we cover
- What today's AI can and can't do, language models in plain terms
- Where AI creates real business value, and where it's just hype
- Effective prompting (zero-shot, few-shot, chain-of-thought)
- Model providers, AI coding IDEs, the cost of AI coding, and automation basics
- Responsible and ethical use, data privacy
- Who it's for
- Managers, founders, marketing and content, operations, anyone who wants to use AI well. No coding required.
- Format
- Full-day interactive workshop. On-site or online.
Inside this track
Effective AI in Business
A no-prerequisite primer for a general audience: spot the use cases that pay off, prompt so it actually works, and navigate the flood of AI tools, responsibly.
Build an AI Project from Scratch
An interactive lab: go from idea to a live app in the room using Claude, Claude Code, Exa (web data) and Vercel (deploy). External data → AI → a finished product.

Workshops FAQ
Who are the workshops for?+
Analysts, strategy and innovation teams, IP specialists, public-sector staff and librarians. The AI track is also designed for a general, non-technical audience. I tailor the content to the group's level, from an introduction to advanced applied methodology.
Online or in person, and where in Europe?+
Both. In-person workshops work best for hands-on blocks and build labs; shorter methodology modules also run online. I teach across Europe, in Czech or English, and we agree the format and location around your team.
Do we really build an AI project from scratch during the workshop?+
Yes. In the interactive lab we go from idea to a running app in the room, with tools like Claude, Claude Code, Exa and Vercel. The goal is that everyone leaves with a working demo and the confidence to repeat it. No coding background required.
How much does a workshop cost?+
It depends on the format, length and group size. After a short scoping conversation I send a no-obligation, tailored quote with a clear scope, date and deliverable. Use the form above or call.
How big can the group be?+
In-house workshops work best with up to 12 participants, so everyone gets time during the hands-on blocks. For larger groups I split into multiple runs, or combine a talk for everyone with a workshop for the core team. For keynotes, audience size isn't limited.
Can a workshop be tailored?+
Yes. Most often I build the program around a concrete team problem, from weak signals through patent search to building an AI app. Tell me what you need to solve.
